I basically just ban pastry and bread when I walk into a market for lunch
I tell myself that I have find something else to eat. Usually find chicken pakora, or seafood sticks/prawns etc
Calorific but not as bad as bread, and you know your body will be working that protein off
On a junk food night at home, I have a pack of seafood sticks (200cals for 16), then cook 4 southern fried steaks (2 at a time). That's about 1200 kcals and I'm full
If I bought a cheap sarnie, and some pasties, each one would be about 500kcals each, and you'd be doubling the junk calories purely because of the bread
So I enforce this rule everywhere I go. If in town too, KFC is probably the least calorific takeaway where their box meals are about 1100kcals. This beats one big mac being 800kcals (especially when I buy 2 cos one isn't filling)
innit
