I think he has had poor season. Hasn't commanded the box or looked confident. Struggles to keep hold of shots or get down quickly.
His supporters seem to think one good save means he should be immune from any criticism for the next month.
Hodgson clearly doesn't rate him, even when his England goalkeeping coach was also the Norwich coach. Hodgson was looking at the Burnley keeper as a possible backup member apparently.
