I have one, it's excellent

I don't have a ps2 and I do a lot of travelling though. I wouldn't go anywhere near UMD movies, but the games are pretty good, Lumines is one of the best and most addictive games I have ever played. The best feature is probably the ability to play DivX movies (with a free 3rd party piece of software), I have a 1 gig memory stick and it seems to fit about 2h30 of fairly good quality video on there whilst leaving enough for game saves. I think they would probably shrink further too.

It's also one of the only consoles I've purchased that doesn't have any obvious design flaws. Everything is pretty well thought out. I also heard that they are losing money on every one they sell so I don't think the price is too bad
