Simple truth is

All labour govern,emts in my lifetime have f**ked up the economy royally. High inflation, high unemployment, devalued the pound and last but not least with gordon, sold off our go.d/assets at an all time low.... Each time the tories came in and made unpopular decisions to repair the damage...
