Us rather than the fact they've got a majority making them more brutal, it actually giving them the chance to carry our their changes whilst showing a bit more compassion.
I think generally some of their policies such as the bedroom tax and welfare reforms are right in principal but they need to be tweaked so they are implemented more fairly and better safeguards put in to protect people. People should not be penalised under the bedroom tax unless they refuse to move to a suitable smaller property, people shouldn't lose their benefits for refusing a zero hours contract job and the unfortunate impacts of the welfare reforms on some disabled people need to be sorted out.
It may be wishful thinking on my part but I do believe Cameron is a " compassionate" conservative so I hope these things are on his agenda as well as the EU and devolution issues. Indeed if he is going to step down mid term I hope he tries to make them a part of his legacy.
