well 49% voted right of centre

maybe even 50% depending on the maths of the DUP/UUP vote.

And that's being generous by calling the current lib dem manifesto left of centre.

Admittedly much of the UKIP vote would have been from traditional labour voters who dont understand what the party actually stands for, but 12.5% still voted for an even more right wing party than the tories.
