Totally. Alan Johnson would have been my choice.

Not convinced by the Labour pretenders yet. I really want to like Umunna but he's a little too slick. Balls is a graceless oaf (but he'd probably do a job in one of the big jobs like chancellor or Home office - certainly not Foreign office). Burnham is a little boy. Labour need a proper, visionary leader to come through - the Tory-led govt will be weak and a properly good leader could wreak havoc and romp home in the next election - which could easily be sooner than 2020. Could even be this year if the right wing don't behave.
