I'd probably be slightly better off (in the short term) under labour....
But after 13 yrs last time and unemployment rising steeply - our customers were on their knees - JCB alone laid off 750 workers and our orders from them fell off a cliff. Our figures went from highest in 30 years to lowest in ONE year (2008). We were lucky to keep our jobs.
I believe the creation of wealth is fundemental for the masses. I accept it doesnt help the poorest of the poor or those unable to work BUT i think it helps the vast majority. As long as social services and health are funded sufficiently- and for that you need a growing economy....
