Apparently there are two types of Labour voter causing this swing....

There are the traditional socialists, who are also pro-union and voted No in the referendum, but feel that Labour has abandoned its ideals etc and are only now transferring their votes to he SNP. So blame Blair and Brown for that.

Then there are the pro-independence Labour voters who voted Yes in the referendum, but are not returning to Labour now.

So the effect seen in the referendum is being accentuated by the first group above, mainly in Glasgow and the surrounding area, where most of the Scottish Labour seats are.
