...the top bits (often called "clearomisers") have two pieces to them, the tank and the coil. Coils are about ?1-2 each and you need to change them when it's all burnt inside, takes about a week sometimes two. CE4 clearomisers take long-wick coils; Kanger clearomisers take short-wick coils (and are much less messy to change). There are other options as well; I use generic eGo batteries and a Kanger top and coils. The actual tank (the bit that holds the coils) cost about ?4-5 but you almost never need to change those (unless you bite into them or something daft), just wash them out with hot not boiling water every couple of weeks and they last forever. The coils don't though cos they burn up.
