But as they say, every player has his price and with their debts I wouldn't be surprised if he does go to the first serious bidder.

I guess Worthy got an idea whether they were interested in selling or not and if so, for what kind of money. He may just be sounding out possible targets so he has some groundwork done in the event Ashton does go.
