This Danny Alexander "leak"

Is it legal for a minister to leak internal draft policy discussion documents to the media?

Regardless of whether or not the content of a 3 year old document that was ultimately rejected does or does not reflect what the Conservatives might do in the future its a pretty low act from a coalition government minister.

How any of this rabble can be trusted to form a stable, competent government in the future is beyond me. Worst election campaign I can recall for smears, back stabbing and lack of substance from all of the parties. It should be mandatory for parties standing for election to provide
a certain level of detail about what they are actually going to do rather than just say "?12 million cuts to welfare" or that they will "balance the books".

I actually heard Milliband say the other day in response to the accusation that Labour doesn't have a plan on the deficit that "yes we do have a plan, our plan is that we are going to balance the books."

Laughable from all of them.
