I know it's not exactly the same as we are well run

however Wigan and Blackpool show just how important it is to go straight back up - Add Portsmouth (as an extreme example), Swindon, Ipswich, Bradford to that list and it makes the play-offs a lottery we can't afford to lose.

Yes the Championship is more fun but not going up will damage our future - Although not to the point of the teams above.
