Canary Call

Now, this might just be the fact that - in my advancing years, more and more things these days are getting on my chuffing nerves, but Canary call?..
It?s becoming laughable, used to laugh along with it and then started laughing at it ? now just getting bored of it. The same old regular ?comedy? callers get through spouting ill-informed opinions ? perhaps these are the only callers, I don?t know. But with the quantity of time available immediate before and post-match, access to ex-player throughout, broadcasting interviews with manager and a key player from the game plus the opportunity to do a fan phone in ? it should be unmissable radio.
Have some more intellectual game analysis, filter some of the calls from supporters in order that you have a certain level of intelligent comment - talk with fans beforehand; especially for away games ? speak with people making the journey (that?ll give you the ?light? footie chat required to make it not overly stuffy) and arrange to get their post-match comments as part of the phone in (it?ll make a change to have the majority of callers being fans who went to the game). Opposition fans opinions would be good to hear from ? how they rated us etc., how about some behind the scenes insight with officials/staff within the club on match day organisation/routines ? anything other than the current tired & lazy format.
I sure there?s far far far better ideas that wouldn?t take this board long to come up with ? in short get Dubs employed with Radio Norfolk as quality controller?.
Rant over - oh hang on I haven?t even mentioned ?The Scrimmage???
