it wouldn't disappear, but how would it be transported?

would you pay for the up-keep and maintenance of the roads to be built yourself everytime you needed some oil? Or will you go to the middle of the north sea and extract it yourself?

How will the people who work for the oil company get to work? How will people work at the refinery if they have received no education and so are illiterate? In the rare event that a tanker of oil does make it through, what is to stop it being ambushed with no law enforcement or legal system? What would you do with the fuel anyway if there are no roads to drive on and no corporations building fires or ovens for you to use it on?
