Augustiner on main shopping street yep (per ALJ) and Hofbraeuhaus (get there early)

There is a nightlife area out by Ostbahnhof (not much in a taxi or get the S-Bahn from town centre) called Kultfabrik, formerly Kunstpark Ost. Quite a few bars and clubs there and open in to the early hours. If you're near Marienplatz and can't be bothered venturing further out then there is an Irish/Aussie bar by the Frauenkirche cathedral called Kilians/Ned Kellys that opens late.

There aren't a lot of late bars right in the centre annoyingly.

There are some nice restaurants down around Viktualienmarkt in the back streets. Alternatively grab yourself a pork knuckle in any beer hall!
