If it's not Oktoberfest then there are some beer halls.....

Close to the Hard Rock Cafe. You will need to book for these or get in very early evening/late afternoon but they are really the only decent where you can get a good night out at this time of year if you are looking for a decent drunken time as the bars are quite patchy and we found it hard going until the morning of the Oktoberfest because we could not get into the main beer halls.

It's a great place but don't go out too late as the evening start quite early
