I followed that recipe too. Utterly ballsed it up, ended up with an original gravity of about 1.07 (should have been 1.05ish) and the beer was about 7%. When I realised how badly I'd ballsed up the mash I just threw a s**tload of hops in to compensate (cascade, no idea how much) and it ended up being one of the nicest beers I've ever made.
