I don't agree before though where you said that it was 'piss-poor' football. I thought they were very good; they had a game plan and executed it to perfection.
Their strength is defending (they have something like 20 clean sheets this season), so they knew an early goal put them in a strong position and went all out for it. Then they were comfortable with us having a lot of the ball and putting a lot of crosses, but without really looking threatening.
They even created the best chances in the second half on the counter. I would say they were the better team for the majority of the game, not just the opening 15 minutes. Even though we had more of the ball, their defence handled our attacking play with ease.
