tbh, I hate seeing penalties given for things like that

the defender was sliding in and his arms were in a pretty natural position; you can't really dive into block a cross with your hands down by your side. And the ball then hit them from close range, he didn't move them towards it. It should never be a penalty for me, but I agree that some refs do give them - and obviously I would have been delighted to have got it yesterday
