Lib Dems have their core vote concentrated over a smaller number of constituencies which they habitually win - so get a fair number of MPs. Probably 20-30 this time around.

UKIP has a higher share of the vote but it's spread thinner on a national basis and they'll be lucky to get any MPs at all.

If we had a form of proportional representation then UKIP would have more MPs.
