On a very serious note an estate agent friend of mine now working in Hunstanton used to live in Bradford and knew the family of the author very well and go round for tea often and told me a few years ago it was arson. Three generations lost whatever the circumstances is an awful tragedy and if there was foul play its s shame he can never be bought to justice.
