went to portman rd yesterday

and before you start any kind of abuse, i work as a carer, for a young man (22) with learning difficulties, who unfortunately despite his bro being a carrow rd season ticket holder supports ipswich. he had never been to seem em play, takes alot of stick (as he should!!) and knows their results, who scored etc. i went free so gave them NO MONEY,just a few thoughts from it though:

Constant reminders that it is a no smoking stadium (evrey 15 mins or so)

19k there yesterday but may aswell have been 5k, very very quiet

how on earth are they 6th???? at 2-2 blackpool looked like they were gonna win it.

i almost screamed out when bpool scored the secound, had to hide my face in my hands with a huge grin!!

best bit was thinking we had only drawn, hardly any signal inside the stadium (mate was texting) until back on the coach, had to jump up then and give em some OTBC
