There's stupid cyclists just like there are stupid drivers.

This is the kind of thing that really 'drives a wedge' between carists and bicyclists though (from today's That London news):

So the truck driver was banned from the road five times previously, including two bans for drink driving, was not licensed to be driving the tipper lorry, had his view blocked by a toilet roll and sat-nav holder on his dashboard, and had his focus on keeping up with his partner in the tipper truck in front - hence why he drove through the red light.

Oh, and he had convictions for assault, criminal damage and drug possession, too.

And someone paid him to drive a tipper truck.

Appalling.
