This has been bugging me a bit - Has anyone else noticed that

Worthy said yesterday that the reason Ashton didn't play is because he was injured with a groin strain and that they found that out on Thursday. WHY then did Worthington then say on Friday that Ashton would play and he didn't care about the whole being cup-tied issue.

If I've got the dates things were said mixed up then I apologise but from what I remember it was Friday that he said Ashton would be playing. Still seems a little sus to me, although I think Worthy would have definitely played him if he was fit, unless the board have stepped in and told him not to. Who knows eh? Anyone else notice anything sus about the dates of all the comments/injury issues etc?
