they just weren't interested in coming

the likes of Alderweireld, Quagliarella and Biglia could potentially have transformed us last time around into a stable mid-table team, but we couldn't pay them enough and just weren't attractive enough to them.

I don't see why that will have changed if we went up this time. We'd presumably be even less attractive as a newly promoted side.
