Scrapping zero hour contracts was a pledge by Tony Blair in 1995. Shame

he never managed to find time to fit it in over the following FIFTEEN years.

Also strange that the labour party in Wales (where they could have pushed the legislation through) actually blocked legislation to ban zero hour contracts in 2013 and 2014.
