We've got Her Madge in town today for Maundy distributions. The streets are literally

paved with Plod. I have never seen ploddensity like it. Also, observant men in hi-viz on street corners with earpieces just observing folk. Presumably they're made conspicuous, to make it less likely that one notices the plainclothes observant people not in hi-viz.
