Guess: the code that generates the older/newer links is treating the month

like a regular number, but whatever date calc thing is being used is expecting the month to be zero-indexed. Or vicey versas. Upshot: 29/3 is getting mixed up with 29/2, and it knows there's no 29/2 in 2015, so going to 28/2 (interpreted as 28/3) instead.
