RE Food Banks

People have to be referred to them and they only get referred in extreme circumstances.

People get referred to food banks when their benefits get stopped... and people are having their benefits stopped because the govt wants the unemployment figures to look a lot lower than it actually is.

The massive growth of food banks is a national disgrace. There shouldn't be a need for them but unfortunately we have an extremely cruel government.
