Slightly bemused by the fuss about Clarkson. I mean he made a moderately amusing show about cars. He's not Orson Welles is he? I foresee no gaping hole being created in my life when he stops presenting Top Gear. But then I acknowledge that I find cars in general quite boring.

And he didn't get sacked because of some lefty witch hunt. He punched someone at work. If you punch someone at work, you're pretty much done, whoever you are.

If some people are going to miss him that much, just set up a series link on Dave. As far as I could see, all the shows were pretty much the same formula anyway.
