Agree that he can't use the midfield (jarrett & etuhu)

as an excuse.

I suppose the only reasonable comment is that we were without our three best creative players (apart from Mcveigh) so that would account for the lack of creativity.

Any side in this division would miss Hucks, Ashton and Safri, and it's unrealistic to think that any Champ side would have replacements as good as those 3 in their reserves.

So I take your point but don't completely agree.

West Ham were average for a Prem side, and think we'd have given them a run for their money with a full strength team.

I reserve the most damning criticism of Worthy for simply not having a right-sided midfielder at the club. We didn't have any injuries in right midfield because we don't have a right midfield...and how ridiculous is that?!
