You could try the Namco bowling place out in Bowthorpe, it's ab out 1/2 the price of Hollywood Bowl, and they do little options for groups of kids visiting, even if it's not a full Birthday Party.

Another option is Funkys up off of Vulcan Road near the airport. Big adventure playground and roller skate rink.

Also - if you still want to do the cheapo AM Movies, if your kids aren't bothered by the screen size, Hollywood Cinema on Anglia Square do a discounted kids club weekend mornings. Looks like they're showing Paddington and the latest Night at the Museum for their club movies (as well as Annie).
