I'd have signed him ahead of Huckerby, simply because we were gagging for a player to replace Iwan and he has the best feet I've ever seen from a centre-forward, particularly of his size. Huckerby looked like your usual show-pony.

If you want Crouch to score with his head, you must whip the ball in at pace and allow him to attack it.
