Why is it that the same 2 players are always the best players.

because yet again the doc and macca were the best players. macca deserved his goal, in the first few mins he was the only one actually trying to win the ball, and his touch is great. The doc got stuck in just like normal. But why is it always these 2?

Jarrett looks better, which is probably because he's match fit now. Etuhu was a bit better, still the worst player on the pitch though, was messing about with the ball.

Rossi was really nervous to begin with, but improved as the game got on, not really much difference between him & Colin.

Thorne was ok, big difference between him & ashton though, never looked like scoring, got very few headers in. Hendo was running about, good shot that got tipped over, should have put some better crosses in.

Drury didn't get forward as much as normal. And Charlton was a bit below par on mondays performance.

Flem, was ok, and Green couldn't do much about the goals. made a good save for the 2nd only for bloody zamora to put in the rebound. Hope he's not too injured.

good to see spillane & cave-brown make their debuts.
