Good performance today.

I was pretty pleased with todays performance, Etuhu looked more up for it, very strong in the tackle. Jarrett for once looked like creating things, he was actually let down by his teammates (charlton, etuhu, mcveigh) on several occasions, all of which some fans interpreted as his mistakes.

McVeigh is quality, his touch and awareness was better than anyone else on the pitch, he looked really fired up to loving being a more experienced player.

Backline were solid as well, just a shame for the first goal Rossi was caught napping and for the second it was just a freak goal. Drury is without doubt our most consistent and high quality performer, a real gem at this level.

Overall, pleasing that the weakened team looked strong, passed the ball about very well indeed at times. Words have to be said about Henderson and Thorne however. Both were very average, Thorne saw little of the ball playing that single striker role. As for Henderson, got in a lot of promising positions and wants the ball, but alas, he just doesn't have the end product or the quality to play for our first team. End of.

In conclusion, pleasing at times, a full strength Norwich City with Jarrett and Etuhu, Hughes, Safri, McVeigh, Huckerby, Ashton, Drury and Doherty all playing to their full is a very pleasing thought!
