...I'm laughing my way through it for now, as is he, but he's accepted what's going on and knows the outcome. Hes 69 next month, has been an alcoholic for pretty much all of his life and smokes like a trooper. It's not really a surprise so I'm just getting whatever time I can with him now I'm living 150 odd miles away.
