Diary Memories

Found a 1969 diary recently. Mostly references to City matches and what happened such as Saturday 11th January Milwall 3 City 1, Anderson put city ahead just before half time and then goals by Dunphy, Possee, and Kitchener sealed it for Millwall. Gate was 14,765. Then note saying "city will have to start fighting against relegation if things don't improve".

Previous week we'd taken 2,500 (including me) to see city lose 3-0 in FA Cup 3rd Round at West Brom. Goals by Forbes (og), Rees, and Astle (pen).

Scum lost 2-1 at Goodison.
