And yes, I know that sounds arrogant as hell. It even sounds delusional. However:

- Most expensive squad - CHECK

- Lots of gifted individuals - CHECK

- Most gifted squad when everyone is 'on' - CHECK

- Capable of losing to anyone when a bunch of players can't be arsed - CHECK

- Mentally weak - CHECK

- Not capable of handling the pressure of being leaders or favourites - CHECK

- Liable to go on a great run when everyone's written us off, hence the pressure is off - CHECK

Thankfully, we have someone in charge now who won't stand for this half-arsed bollocks. Alex Neil's suspicions about the character of his players were what motivated his post-Brentford interview; and hopefully his latest comments nip this latest poor spell in the bud.
