The gap between the best car (Mercedes) and the rest is ridiculous at the moment

Guess it's partly the adjustment to all the new (greener) technology. One engine manufacturer has done it better than the rest. They will catch up *eventually*.

One saving grace - at least Mercedes do have 2 genuinely quick drivers. It might actually be close between them, which could provide some interest. Otherwise could be very dull, even for F1 fans.
