Coming more and more round to the view its a PR stunt.
If not then the whole thing is ridiculous. If he punched a fellow staff member then he should be sacked. no need to take the program off air just sack him and carry on with the other two.
If he didn't and it was just an argument or a lesser row then discipline him and move on.
He's not a "great talent" as claimed by Cameron. He's a decent presenter who a lot of people like because he doesn't do political correctness and who happens to have found his niche messing about with his mates on top gear. I suspect if he moves elsewhere he may get a decent payday but any show he presented would probably end up being a bit sh*t like Tim Lovejoy when he left soccer a.m. If he's really kicking off over his producer only being able to source cold meat rather than a steak then it sounds like he's got too big for his boots and needs knocking down a peg or two anyway.
