I've mentioned this a couple of posts down. The key point is that the Italians, who would

be England's closest rivals for the 4th place, are having a very strong year in the Europa. Like you, I don't know the system inside out, but it looks to me as though it could be pretty close after this year, particularly as 10/11 will drop away from England's overall score.
