canaries player is pretty s**t but

isn't it to do with economies of scale. The NFL one probably has millions of subscribers around the world, so is making huge amounts despite charging a relatively modest fee - and therefore can provide such a comprehensive service.

Canaries Player probably has a few thousand subscribers and so isn't making enough money (despite the relatively high cost) to justify employing more people and putting more hours and effort to manage/create more videos and better content.
