it's not a million miles away from my experiences in the litigation department of one of the top 50 firms.

It's largely why I don't do litigation. All the solicitor-to-solicitor sparring struck me as being such childish nonsense most of the time.

Old Git sees a very different part of the process, thankfully for him.
