They lost seats mainly because of boundary manipulation by Labour

Their share of the vote was the highest in a generation, and that was largely down to "I agree with Nick". Not sure if you were in the UK in 2010? If not it's hard to overstate what a media darling Cleggy became (hard as that now seems to believe!)
