One 7 leader debate is daft enough, let alone two. He should just step away from that nonsense.
Very few people are going to bother watching an hour of Labour and 5 fringe parties bickering amongst themselves - no-one will do it twice.
It would be amusing to watch Miliband lose a debate to an empty chair but even that prospect isn't going to excite many people.
Unlike the rest of them, he does have a country to continue to run. Brown made the mistake of agreeing to them last time because he knew his stock couldn't get much worse - Cameron would only lose and he can't gain anything. Even if he 'wins' the debate, that just reinforces his bully-boy, PR boy, image. Blair was never daft enough to agree to these against Hague. Cameron would be mad to get embroiled in them now.
