Hmm. I used to work with a chap with the same name as the forger, in S Yorks,

who would be about that age. Fairly common name though tbf. I've forwarded the link to a couple of former colleagues to see if they think it could be the same chap. The one I knew was a very funny onion. Always wore a really ill fitting grey suit - trousers too short.
