last night was the worse 90mins ive seen us play for quite sometime. It wasnt helped by Wigans game plan to park the bus, time waste and frustrate us and the ref was truly awful, having said that we weren't good enough.
Before Wigan scored it seemed as if we just werent up for it - i'm guessing the adrenaline/buildup and hype around Sundays game had left us feeling a little flat often there is a natural low after a high - but isnt that the managers job to make sure that doesn't happen?
So far I think Alex Neil has done a good job but last night the team section was wrong and for most of the game the players didnt look like they knew were they should be playing.
Im not sure what I thought of Dorrans - as a player looked ok but somehow didnt seem to fit.
Having Carlton Morris on the bench for me was a massive risk. My hunch is something has been seen in him in training, manager thought we would be 3,4 or 5 nil up in at some point in the game so a great opportunity to bring on a youngster who needed to first team experience.
Lastly still don't think we can rule out auto places providing that was a one off slip up as no one in the top 6 seems able to run away with the league.
Such a missed opportunity but its not all over yet
well thats my thoughts anyway
