I think the main thing that it showed is that

although we have a strong squad, it is hugely imbalanced. We have loads of players for certain positions, but there are also other positions where we have no decent cover.

If Grabban is out for a long time, and if Tettey can't play every match (due to injury/suspension), then Neil has to take a completely different approach,
