I have done this before, but bears repetition: if you like your Batmanny nonsense

then Gotham on the telly is well worth keeping up with. Started well, and just gets better and better. Good single episodic stuff, but really well balanced with the series-long story arcs. Really moody and noir, not too gory, but knows when to poke a toe over the line. CGI stuff tuning the New York skyline into Gotham City is subtle and effective. Pretty ladies. Ridiculous++, in a good way.

Ticks all them boxes.
